Stainless Steel Rope Net
Stainless steel rope net — also called stainless steel cable mesh or flexible rope net — is a diamond-pattern flexible mesh. It is made from high-strength stainless steel wire rope (7×7 or 7×19 construction), joined either by crimped stainless ferrules or by hand inter-weaving. We supply grades 304, 304L, 316 and 316L, with cable diameters from 1.0–6.0 mm and mesh apertures from 20×20 mm to 200×200 mm made to order. The result pairs the load capacity of a metal screen with the openness of a fabric: nearly invisible from a distance, structurally clear up close, and stable across long spans once tensioned.
Product Advantages
- Material by environment — 304 for general use; 316 / 316L for coastal, humid or chemical-exposed sites, with 316L offering lower carbon and better intergranular corrosion resistance after welding.
- Flexible and light — conforms to curved and 3-D shapes, spans wide under tension, and uses far less material than equivalent solid panels or rods.
- Two constructions — ferrule type (high transparency, easy maintenance) and knotted type (no added hardware, long service life).
- Load scales with cable — e.g. ~3.17 kN at 2.0 mm, ~7.38 kN at 3.2 mm (7×19) — select by protection level.
- Durable, low maintenance — corrosion resistant, non-combustible, anti-climb, and essentially maintenance-free outdoors.
- Finish options — natural or black-oxidized; the black version reduces glare for animals and reads as more refined.

Stainless steel rope net is made in two joint types with different aperture geometry: ferrule type is a 60° diamond (OW≠OH); knotted type is a square grid (knot-locked, width = height).
